CEP Compression Socks & Track Workouts

First off, did these babies (my CEP socks which I reviewed here) ever turn heads on the track last Saturday! I got plenty of questions, compliments and lustful stares. That's right Steve, I saw you checking me out across the field. wink

So, I took my socks to my first track practice of the year, and even after a hard week of 90km and 3 hard workouts, my calves still had lots of spring left in them. To put things into context and demonstrate the benefit of CEP Compression socks...
  • I have not, in recent history, done three hard workouts in one week.
  • I have not been on the track in 10 years
  • I have not run a 30 second 200m repeat in FOREVER
And still, I had enough in my calves by Sunday to enjoy a 90 minute trail run with my wife. My calves are definitely a little tight, but to be honest I thought I would have been sidelined for days after the last week of training.  It turns out I wasn't, and though I do take care of my body, I do owe some of this to the fact I wore CEP Compression socks for most of the weekend.

So if you are like me and find yourself beginning to hammer track workouts this season, logging more and more miles or just want to look sexy while running then get yourself a few pairs of CEP Compression Socks. They may be a tad on the pricey side, but every dollar spent is well worth it.
