Yeah, I'm really late with this recap, but better late than never. This week was MONUMENTAL for me as far as running progression goes. After a solid time trial a few weeks ago, this week saw me jump into our advanced stream in the club and start a 3 workout per week regimen that now also includes a track workout every Saturday!
If you'd like to hear about my first track workout in 10+ years, I wrote all about it recently. This was another HIGH mileage week for me and I cranked out nearly 85km. The legs were a little beat up, especially my calves. I'm not used to such intensity and luckily I had the foresight to choose the lower volume for each of our workouts.
